Information For Property Owners And Visitors

Your park is under Permanent Care and is maintained without cost to you. The purchase price of your lot included a deposit to the Permanent Care and Maintenance fund as required by law. Permanent care provides for a scheduled service of planting, fertilizing, trimming and mowing grass; planting and care of trees and shrubbery and the general maintenance of roads, buildings and park statuary. The permanent care and maintenance fund is controlled by a corporate trustee approved by the State.

Our rules and regulations (which were incorporated in your Contract of Sale and Deed or Certificate of Ownership by reference) are designed to assist us in building and maintaining a cemetery of surpassing beauty, as a memorial to those loved ones that you have entrusted to our care. You can help us achieve this worthy purpose by observing the following policies governing the operation of the park.

A. Fresh cut flowers placed in approved vases that are integral with the memorial or are set in concrete or granite installed by the cemetery are permitted the year around. As a further service, cut flowers will be removed by park employees only after they become wilted and unsightly.

B. Potted plants are permitted on these special occasions: Easter, Memorial day, Mother's day, Father's day and Christmas. Relatives and friends wishing to save such items placed on the grave, must remove them within seven days after the occasion or else they will be removed by the employees. Potted plants placed on the memorial may damage or stain the surface of the memorial. The park will not assume any responsibility for such stain or damage.

C. Unauthorized plantings, flowers sprays, chairs, benches, urns, etc. will be removed without notice.

D. Dogs are not permitted in the park. Small children must be accompanied by an adult.

E. Uniformity of memorials in all sections is strictly adhered to. Please consult your cemetery before ordering grave markers or memorials. Samples of approved designs are on display in the park office where you may make your selection. All memorials must be installed by the cemetery after approval and payment of the installation charges.

We earnestly solicit your co-operation in these matters as well as your suggestions for the improvement of your park or our services to you.
