GENERAL PRICE LIST

These prices are effective December 10, 2007 and are subject to change without notice.

Our traditional service fee is $4,500.00.  This fee includes basic services of funeral director and staff, transportation of the deceased from place of death to our facility, embalming, dressing & casketing, one night or weekend visitation, a funeral service, graveside service, use of our hearse, limousine, utility vehicle, and home equipment.  

The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only those items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement describing the funeral goods and services you selected.  Besides our General Price List, you can also view these other items online:

PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

A.   BASIC SERVICES OF FUNERAL DIRECTOR & STAFF   $ 2,525.00 

Our basic service charge includes, but is not limited to, staff to respond to initial request for service; arrangement conference with family or responsible party; preparation and filing of necessary certificates and permits; placement of obituary notices; planning of funeral arrangements; and coordination of service with cemetery, crematory, vault companies and others as required.  Resident equipment will be provided as needed, one register book and stand, one food register, chairs, road signs, one door spray, memorial cards, acknowledgement cards and a temporary grave marker (either one or all)   Also included in this charge are overhead expenses relative to our facility such as insurance, maintenance and utility expenses, secretarial and administrative costs, and equipment and inventory expenses.  This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains).

B.   EMBALMING    $ 575.00 

Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as a direct cremation or immediate burial.

C.   OTHER PREPARATION OF THE BODY

            Cosmetology, grooming, dressing and casketing   $ 75.00 

            Special care of autopsied remains   $ 50.00

            Washing and disinfection when no embalming is requested   $ 50.00

            Restoration charges   $ 25.00 per hour

Unless otherwise noted, all transportation charges contained in this General Price List apply to local area only (within a 50 mile radius of funeral home).

IMMEDIATE BURIALS
Our charge for an immediate burial (without ceremony) includes initial transfer of the deceased from place of death to funeral home, transportation of the deceased to cemetery, and basic services of funeral director and staff.

1. Immediate burial with casket selected  $ 2,850.00 plus casket price

2. Immediate burial with alternative container of cardboard $ 2,950.00

3. Immediate burial with container provided by purchaser. $ 2,850.00

 

FORWARDING OF REMAINS TO ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME. $ 3,525.00
This charge includes initial transportation of the deceased from place of death to funeral home, embalming, basic services of funeral director and staff, receptacle for body, and local transportation (airline or other shipping charges not included). This cost of transportation outside a 50 mile radius of the funeral home will be $1.95 per mile, one way. This charge does not include visitation, rites, or ceremonies prior to forwarding of the body.

RECEIVING OF REMAINS FROM ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME $ 2,675.00
This charge includes temporary shelter of remains, basic services of staff and transportation of remains to cemetery or crematory. This charge does not include visitation, rites, or ceremonies. The cost of Transportation outside a 50 mile radius of the funeral home will be $1.95 per mile, one way.

If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are constructed of corrugated cardboard boxes. Our charge for direct cremation (without ceremony) includes  transportation to crematory, cremation, and basic services of funeral director and staff.  This price does not include initial transportation of $175.00.

2.  Direct Cremation  with casket selected  $1,875.00
If a casket is desired, add price of casket to the cremation charge.  Crematory has the right to require an approved container.  ***No metal caskets may be utilized for cremation purposes***

3.  Direct cremation for infants (birth to 18 months)   $ 1,525.00

4.  Direct cremation for children (age 18 months to 12 years)   $1,625.00

5.  Cremation Tray if Required    $ 50.00

6.  Additional charge for cremation of casket - if selected $ 150.00

CREMATION URNS    $ 30.00 - and up
